Parfum d'Empire Aziyadé is an expressive unisex fragrance created by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato and launched in 2008. It is inspired by the exotic and sensual world surrounding Pierre Loti's novel Aziyadé, and the fragrance itself is presented by the house as a celebration of sensual pleasure and exoticism.
The fragrance begins with a rich combination of pomegranate, dates, plum, orange and almond before moving into a warm, aromatic cloud of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and caraway. Its deeper side brings incense, tobacco, labdanum, vanilla, patchouli and musk, creating a warm and enveloping finish.
The overall impression is fruity, sweet, spicy, warm, exotic, sensual, ambery and mysterious. It has a distinctive niche personality and is much more adventurous than a conventional fruity or sweet fragrance.
