Biography
Suzy Le Helley's love of botany began in her childhood garden, among lily of the valley and honeysuckle, nurtured by a grandmother who shared the same passion. She decided to pursue perfumery professionally in 2008, joined Symrise in 2014, trained at the company's in-house school in Holzminden, Germany, and returned to Paris in 2018 to focus on reformulation and sourcing new natural ingredients. Her breakthrough came through a collaboration with Frédéric Malle on Acne Studios' debut fragrance, boldly pairing fresh aldehydes with a gourmand heart. She also created Boss Bottled Parfum, winner of the 2023 Duftstars People's Choice Award, and Kenzo's Nuage Cerisier, her first fully solo creation. Her style centers on short, precise, easily readable formulas, and she remains committed to sustainability, sourcing ingredients like vetiver and fresh green pepper from Madagascar.
